The new SLC-8550-LVA is the 5-inch bay sized (203mm×145mm) CPU board and is a lead-free and RoHS-compliant product. This CPU board supports the Intel 855GME + ICH4 professional chipset and is compatible with 1.6G-2.0GHz (FSB400MHz) Intel Pentium M processor and 1.3G-1.5GHz (FSB400MHz) Intel Celeron M processor. The main memory complies with PC2700 DDR SDRAM (supports both ECC and non-ECC memory) and is able to contain up to 1 GB.
The SLC-8550-LVA provides the expansion capability including six 232C serial communication ports (two of them are pin header suppliers of connector), six USB 2.0 ports, CF slot (enables boot-up), AC97 audio and PCI slot, making it ideal for complicated embedded applications. LVDS interface and analog RGA enables the dual independent professional displays. CONTEC strives to customize contained devices and BIOS of the new SLC-8550-LVA as its custom ordered (OEM) product.
