VPC-2000 series CONTEC

CONTEC's highly durable and reliable VPC-2000 Series IPC is suitable for use in a wide variety of fields, such as transportation, lifeline, medical, building maintenance, and store security, in addition to machine tool control and production control terminal applications. In these fields, where high ICT is rapidly progressing, IPCs must respond to greater image processing and high-speed parallel processing requirements without sacrificing reliability. With its VPC-2000 Series, CONTEC meets these ever more sophisticated needs.

The VPC-2000 Series IPC is available as a BTO PC that offers multiple options for CPU speed and memory capacity.　For applications that require heavy-duty image and high-speed control processing, CONTEC offers the VPC-2000 Series with the Intel® CoreTM i7 Processor, a high-speed quad core CPU. For applications with more modest demands, CONTEC offers builds based on the Intel® Pentium® Processor G6950, which provides improved processing capacity at a lower cost.

The VPC-2000 Series is also available with hardware RAID (mirroring) for storage hot-plugging in systems that operate around-the-clock. RAID-equipped models are in stock for quick deliveries. In addition to a screw-less detachable front panel, the VPC-2000 Series is designed with easy-to-replace parts, including the hard disk, fan, dust filter, and embedded battery. 　The series also incorporates highly efficient hardware RAS functions, including watchdog timer, remote reset, hardware monitor, and general digital I/O, for improved reliability.
