Top Cable Entry / Side Cable Entry- Available in cable-to-panel configurations. This type features positive latching to keep connectors securely mated despite gravity, shock, vibration or tension. Latching arm can also be wire-locked for greater safety. Shells are keyed for polarization and to prevent mismating of multiple connectors. A wide choice of key positions is available. Shells can be provided with either plug (male) insert or receptacle (socket) insert as desired. Please specify P for plug or S for socket in part number. This style provides cable entry at top of nickle-plated brass back shell. Cable opening has strain relief clamp with 2 screws.
