Pluggem female receptacle are designed to allow external expansion of a card slot. In conjunction with the Pluggem male connector, the female IDC card connector allows daisy chaining and extension of exernal PC boards. The tightly controlled Pluggem fingers provide a higher reliability interface than a board edge. The durable construction allows for higher mating than a conventional board.
