The ARES series is COORD3 Industries' entry level bridge type CMM automatic, flexible and compact measuring instruments that can be fitted with manual and automatic probe heads. The Ares series is equipped with point-to-point probes which can be used in various applications, both for a final examination, for the inspection of production equipment and production process tuning.
The new ARES NT is characterized by robust mechanical design and stability that ensure long term accuracy and reduced calibration costs. ARES NT is a blend of the most advanced material used for construction combined to get the highest cost/performance ratio.
Technical Highlight
Worktop structure with granite work plate incorporated, three points supporting system to the supporting table, with mobile bridge in Aluminum alloy that ensures higher rigidity combined with lower weight to reduce inertia effects to have extremely good accuracy and greater repeatability.
X axis: dovetail guideways machined into the granite table
Y axis: micromachined anodized light alloy extrusion
Z axis: Silicon Carbide. This solution ensures a much higher rigidity than the aluminum ram and rigidity is a basic one of the key point to have extremely good accuracy
Sliding System: Air bearings on all axes
