The ProRate volumetric feeder has been created to be a on-machine feeding system. It finds the right job with injection or extrusion feeding applications. The feeder meters the pelletized color concentrates, modifiers and additives straight into the raw material stream, as the material begins to enter the processing machine. ProRate has a lot of modular flexibility and it can be added or removed, to adapt to present or changing requirements. If one ingredient is being metered and a second is to be added just fix another ProRate feeder. The microprocessor controls facilitate easy calibration and continuous monitoring so as to ensure feed accuracy.
