The CASI 730 is a low cost solution for checkweighing by using simple PLC logic to present and release up to 10 cartons per minute. It is recommended for applications under 1000 cartons per hour to record actual shipping manifest data to a PLC or PC. Perfect for smaller DC operation. Includes scale, PLC and powered conveyor for quick plug-and-play installation.

The 700 Series line of conveyor scales fill the gap where a low cost automatic or semi-manual processes are needed. Other 700 Series applications include quality control for filling, packing station in-line weighing, and other operations where products are either presented or diverted to gravity conveyor.

Operation

Powered conveyor presents a carton to the scale. Carton stops on scale
Carton is held by the PLC (included) to weigh and release
The PLC briefly holds the carton, transmits weigh data to PLC or PC
Carton is released and new carton is presented
