Liquid filling machine
Cozzoli Machine Company
COZZOLI AUTOMATIC MONOBLOCK CLOSED AMPUL
FILLING AND SEALING MACHINE
This compact monoblock closed-ampul filling and sealing machine is equipped with a built-in 24" (609mm) unscrambler along with stations for opening, inspecting, flushing with inert gas (before and after filling), filling and flame sealing.
It has the versatility to handle closed, as well as the standard open-end ampuls.
As the closed ampuls enter the first operational stage, they are spun with a flame directed to their lower portion, heating the internal air.
In the next station, this lower heating is continued along with flame directed at the top of the ampul; the expanding air will force its way through the top of the ampul causing it to open.
Next, the inspection station optically determines if the ampul has been properly opened.
At that point, the ampuls are either accepted or rejected through a release gate before moving onto the flush/fill/flush and flame sealing stations.
The machine operates with a dual indexing format, employing intermittent motion when advancing the ampuls.
It comes complete with (2) 10ml stainless steel syringes along with 8 sets of filling nozzles and 3 sets of flushing nozzles.
All liquid contact parts are 316 stainless steel.
Syringes and valves are manufactured and honed to precision tolerances that enable Cozzoli syringes to operate without O-rings or packings, avoiding the possibility of product contamination.
These liquid contact parts are easy to disassemble for cleaning and sterilization.
The product is filled under positive head pressure made possible by Cozzoli's exclusive sliding type valve.
