Cryogenic process piston pump
max. 30 600 l/h, 35 - 380 bar | KPL
Cryo Star
Piston pumps for liquefied gases are built for various pressure ranges as process, filling, or metering for continuous or intermittent operation.
They pump liquid gases including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, ethylene, methane, neon, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide.
The permissible discharge pressure is between 35 and 380 bar with capacities range from 165 l/hour to 10200 l/hour for standard pumps and up to 30 600 l/hour in 3X cylinder type design To meet these requirements, the KPL pumps are made from specially selected materials with vacuum insulation and are equipped with two-stage charging piston configuration.
The charging piston design ensures safe operation even at very low NPSH values.
Special pumps can also be produced for extremely high pressure (e.g. up to 1000 bar) and very low temperatures (for use with hydrogen).
