Description

The QXW 810 is a track drill with a frame-mounted feed system that drills with a Wassara® DTH hammer using high-pressure water from the on board 85 gpm pump system. This drill has a deck mounted 48-drill pipe carousel holding 10 ft. drill pipe. The pipe is added to the feed with the use of the on board pipe arm.
The QXW Series of DTH Geotechnical drills are capable of utilizing a Wassara TMW80 (3 in.176 mm) or W100 (4 in./i 01 mm) DTH Hammer to a depth of 440 ft. (134 m) without reloading the Pipe Rack. Hydraulically driven by two (2) high torque motors, the top drive has a torque capacity of 2990 ft-lbs. (4050 Nm) torque @3000 psi (207 bar). Optional 4225 ft-lbs. (5728 Nm).
