Analogue and digital STAMFORD Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR's) are designed and built to achieve maximum performance from the STAMFORD range of brushless ac generators. Self-excited and separately excited with shaft mounted Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) types are available. All STAMFORD AVR's are encapsulated to provide protection against moisture, salt and sand in the atmosphere and mounted on anti-vibration mounts for mechanical protection from engine vibrations.
