The Cummins ISX15 is an engine specially designed for heavy-duty truck applications. Its robust engine design has 6 cylinders, featuring a XPI Fuel System capable of providing an accurate amount of fuel at very high pressures while creating an output power range of 400-600 horsepower, a peak torque of 1966-2779 N•m and governed speed of 2000 up to 2100 revolutions per minute. It also features an electronic engine control which enables multiple injection per cycle providing a highly reliable performance.
The Cummins ISX15 strictly complies to 2010 emissions standard as its whole framework is integrated by advanced fuel injection technology, improved cooled EGR subsystem and Cummins VGT™ Turbocharger and Cummins Aftertreatment System that features Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology.
