UN certified lidded crate CurTec

In addition to the standard lidded crates, CurTec also offers lidded crates which carry the UN mark. This indicates that the crate has passed a drop and stacking test. In order to obtain the UN mark, the crates must pass the following strict tests: a drop test from a height of 1.80 metres with the crate cooled down to -18°C, a 24-hour stacking test up to a height of 3 metres at an ambient temperature of 30°C. During these tests, the seal on the lid must remain intact. This packaging certification is required for the storage and the transportation of certain hazardous goods. Capacities range from 20 to 95 litres.
