AMT - Four-Axis Device Manipulators
The 17AMU001/D and 17 AMT 001/D are compact, cost-effective, four-axis positioners designed for precise orientation of photonics components and other planar devices. The four independent degrees of freedom--y, z, θy (pitch), and θz (yaw), make them ideal for end-fire and butt-coupling applications where relatively large translations are required.
The 07 AMT 001/D has a common point of rotation is located at the system optical-axis height of 75 mm (12.5 mm above the platform surface). A component can first be translated in the y-z plane to a precise location, and then rotated about a point in free space without any translational motion. It's narrow profile makes it ideal for the positioning of a device in between a launching and a probing stage.
The 07 AMU 001/D offers a low profile with a large mounting surface, free of mechanical interference on three sides.
