CVI Melles Griot's UV Galilean beam expanders optimize both clear aperture and magnification ratio in as short a space as possible while also eliminating the risk of focused retroreflections. The compact, air-spaced design can be used either for beam expansion or beam reduction. It is manually adjustable, allowing for collimation at a variety of wavelengths.
CVI Melles Griot's large selection of high-quality fused-silica singlet lenses makes rapid delivery of custom beam expanders possible for any UV to NIR wavelength. When ordering a nonstandard size or expansion ratio, please specify the operating wavelength, magnification, input-aperture diameter, and spatial allotments available in your system. CVI Melles Griot BXUV beam expanders can be post mounted via a 1/4-20 thread located on the side of the housing.
