Manufactured from a precision high carbon steel strip with unique characteristics and metallurgical proporties developed exclusively for Dakin-Flathers. The steel enables blades to be produced with superior cutting performance, improved fatigue resistance and tougher, harder teeth. The fine dispersion of carbide produced during heat treatment dramatically improves wear resistance and blades life. These factors combine to result in the highest quality blades available. Available in an extensive range of width, thickness, tooth pitch configurations and set patterns. Widths range from 1.6mm to 50mm, tpi from 1.1 to 32 and thicknesses from 0.36mm to 1.1mm. Can be used for cutting wood, plastics, abrasive materials, non-ferrous metals and most other soft materials.
