Constructed from a high speed steel strip electron beam welded to a high strength spring steel alloy backing material. Teeth are milled into the HSS strip resulting in a long life, fatigue resistant blade with HSS tooth tips. The resistance to heat, abrasion and vibration allows faster cutting rates over a wide range of materials. Both Matrix and M42 grades are available in constant tooth pitches and vari-tooth pitches. Constant pitch is used in applications where the cross sectional size of the material is consistent. Vari-pitch is used for a wider range of cross sectional sizes and reduces noise and vibration.
Matrix (M31) blades are ideal for general purpose cutting and contour cutting of tubing, structurals and solids, especially in fabrication applications or where the material is prone to vibration. Available in widths from 20mm to 34mm.
M42 blades are used for faster or higher volume production cutting of solid sections and exotic or tool steels. Available in widths from 6mm to 54mm.
