Heating an acidic or caustic solution in an immersion application can be a difficult and often dangerous procedure. Dalton's Watt-Flex replaceable immersion system eliminates the complication of changing the heater and draining the tank.
Dalton Electric's Watt-Flex cartridge heater and immersion well system use a sheath with a welded endcap and NPT fitting that screw into the side of the tank. The sheath becomes a permanent part of the equipment. The cartridge heater is then inserted into this well and held in place with a flange. It can be removed and replaced with ease.
