Vertical rotor shredders are mainly intended for the production of high-density (up to 3.5 t/m3) cooling scrap metal from new offcuts or scrap metal that has already been shredded. They can also be used for the processing of lightweight scrap metal. DANIELI HENSCHEL offers four models from 250 to 720 kW, with an output up to 20 t/h. The scrap metal is perfectly cleaned and densified after being crushed between the rotor box and the rotor equipped with grinding stars. For incinerated or highly mixed scrap metal, a dust removal system is required. An eddy current system and overband magnet system can be installed downstream if necessary.
