With the SensorLine Length Measurement System it is possible to make non-contact surface- length measurement of the paper being wound. The system measures directly on the paper, replacing the less accurate system based on roller measurement.

The Length Measurement System can be integrated into the winder and process control system, providing controls for winder acceleration and deceleration. This can considerably reduce paper wastage.
