The DATEXEL DAT 3580-USB is basically a an isolated interface converter between USB port and asynchronous serial lines. It guarantees a full isolation between power supply, USB and serial line even in the worse environmental conditions. The series comprises of several models (few e.g. are DAT3028, DAT3130, DAT3140, DAT3148/12, DAT3188/4 etc.) with varied digital input channels and area of application to suit every need. This model DAT6021 aids in asynchronous serial data transmission, automatic band-rate fitting up to 115.2 Kbps, point to point connection or multi-point connection up to 32 modules, galvanic isolation on all ways etc. The model is complaint to both AC or DC supply and covers a distance up to 1200 m. The design is suitable for DIN rail mounting and is built in compliance with EN 50022 , EN-50035, EMC and CE.
