The HR-2 voltage detector is of the "non integrated high impedance" (VDS) type and is in full accordance with the IEC 61243 - part 5 standards.
Designed to be coupled to an insulator with a capacitive divider the HR-2 has an internal capacitive impedance situated between 36 and 43.2 M? and reacting at a voltage level of 70 to 90V and a current of 2,5 µA at 50 Hz.
On the front side of the HR-2 detector, a test point has been integrated allowing the verification of the phase concordance with the detector installed in its receptacle. The voltage detector HR-2 is:
- in accordance with the protection class II of the IEC 60536 standard and can be tested in a conventional 230V - 19 mm plug.
- On the connection side, all the contacts are protected by a "gold coating" of 0.15µm.
