DHSG-1 switchgear cabinet for twin drives with total load currents of up to 300A

The DHSG-1 flameproof switchgear unit was developed for coal-industry applications, but can also be used in other explosive mining atmospheres.

The DHSG-1’s extremely compact dimensions make it highly suitable for performing switching and control tasks on mobile mining machinery, such as loaders and drill jumbos, as well as for the protection of three-phase a.c. motors, transformers and lighting circuits.

The DHSG-1 switchgear unit offers the following advantages:
power-loss monitoring for overcurrent, short circuits and earth faults, including cold conductors
lighting output in the supply voltage with separate earth-fault monitoring
unit-running indicator in 42 V and 42 V output mode with earth-fault monitoring
intrinsically-safe controls with integral start-up warning and siren function
compact space-saving design.

The unit is designed for operating voltages of 500 V to 1000 V. Voltage switching is achieved by means of a simple plug changeover.
