Multi-axis motion controller Delta Tau

The Turbo PMAC2 Realtime Express Controller provides a very powerful, but compact and cost-effective, multi-axis controller for up to 32 axes on the Panasonic Realtime Express network, using the Panasonic A4N servo motors and drives.

The base version of the Turbo PMAC2 Realtime Express Controller with no options provides a boxed controller 230mm (9”) high x 180mm (7”) deep x 38mm (1.5”) wide with:
• 80 MHz DSP56303 Turbo PMAC CPU
• 256k x 24 user SRAM active memory
• 1M x 8 flash memory for user backup & firmware
• Latest released firmware version
• 100 Mbps Ethernet communications interface
• USB 2.0 communications interface
• RS-232 serial communications interface
• Realtime Express network interface for up to 32 axes
• 4 general-purpose digital outputs, isolated and protected, sinking or sourcing, 24V, 100mA
• 8 general-purpose digital inputs, isolated and protected, sinking or sourcing, 12-24V
• 1 differential quadrature or pulse-and-direction input
• 1 set pulse-and-direction or PWM-t op-and bottom differential outputs
• Single 24VDC power input
