The control unit has a colour LCD screen with customized membrane key pad: every key is easily associated to a machine function. The screen pages are clear and easy to read and give all the necessary information.
The new control has been studied to give the following advantages:
* it is easy to operate;
* it allows to prevent and avoid the operator's errors.
For what concerns the capacity of the control, we can say that it covers almost every need of the grinding work. All the axes are visualized and the transversal and the vertical are interpolated.
It is possible to make grinding cycles and to dress both on the vertical and on the transversal axes (side working). The working fields can be acquired with a teach-in system. The parameters can be changed also during the automatic cycle.
As a matter of fact wheel dressing has been greatly simplified with some parametric profiles covering the most used kind of wheels: it is only necessary to insert some numerical data to define the wheel profile.
The operator is assisted during the grinding cycle by help and alarm messages.
It is possible to recall the working parameters of 50 pieces the cycles can be linked together in sequence Cutting speed constant in function of wheel diameter (with the accessory A/20).
The grinders fitted with CN Compact plus, have hight safety guard with sliding doors and interlocking switch.
