This particular model with oscillating table shows innovative technical features which make it really unique.
The peculiarity of this project , carried out by DELTA Technical Department, lies in a well-planned kinematic mechanism; it takes the oscillating motion of the manually driven headwheel and causes the synchronized motion of the worktable.
Such synchronized movements keep the vertical axis of the spindle constantly aligned with the longitudinal axis of the table, allowing to grind surfaces up to 500 x 200 mm which are remarkable sizes for this type of machines.
The geometrical trim of the machine is always perfectly adjustable thanks to the use, for the oscillating table, of special taper roller bearings which can bear high loads. The grinding machine LP 500/200, showing constructive features common to the whole line, also has an optimized monolithic structure provided with a stout stiffening arm of the column and a spindle motor of 3 kW(4 HP); this is to guarantee very precise workings with excellent finishings.
This model includes an electropermanent magnetic chuck complete with electronic unit to control the magnetic field intensity.
