What is CSTN?

CSTN (Colour Super-Twist Nematic) is a Liquid Crystal based Display technology that produces full-colour paper-like image. Unlike TFT, CSTN is based on a passive matrix, which is less expensive to manufacture. Recent advances in technology and manufacturing process have made CSTN an economical alternative to active matrix displays.
