Level alarm of Oil in oil separators
With self-test and probe self-control
It is a safety system for oil separators, consisting of the 3-sensor level probe HCL-240 connected to the controller DMM-4000/HCL provided with self-test of its normal operation conditions and the status of the probe, allowing to control the level of oil automatically without operator´s presence.
The controller is provided with RS-485 Modbus communication making easier the connection to distributed control network.

The controller DMM-4000/HCL monitor the oil layer in oil separator vessel by means of the sensors of the submerged probe HCL-240, in a way that, when the oil layer reaches a certain thickness the alarm relay switch ON, activating the extraction of oil.
Also, conversely, with a minimum configuration, allows to monitor water tanks in oil vessels.
