As data rates increase so does the complexity of the cabling infrastructure. Compounding this is the operational requirements to provide a greater number of data lines in a confined area such as a tank or aircraft.
In response to this Deutsch have developed a connector that can accommodate eight quadrax contacts within a D38999 connector assembly.
The contacts are designed for 110 ohm quad cables for high speed applications.
The Quadrax contacts consist of an outer contact with four defined spaced inner contacts forming 110 ohm matched impedance differential pairs.
