The RJ45 connector has long been adopted for Local Area Networks in stable environments. With the increased use of COTS communication equipment in harsh environments there is a need for a ruggedised RJ45 connector.
Based on proven military standard D38999 Series 3, the Deutsch DTS-RJ45 addresses this requirement with additional provision for grounding, cable support and environmental sealing.
Pre-cabled connector assemblies are also available which eliminate termination errors and provide consistent reliability and performance levels.
