The spring applied, pneumatically released brake caliper from the R&H 200 Series is suitable for use as a holding and stopping brake. Pneumatic actuation pressure of 5 bar is needed to release the brake. A manual mechanical release is integrated into the brake as standard. Depending on the cylinder size, the braking force per caliper is 3,0008,000 N. The finishing of the brake (Marine series) renders it extremely resistant to corrosion and protects it against the aggressive nature of saltwaterespecially in marine applications. This type of finishing is also possible for other brake models.
