These six-cylinder inline engines are water-cooled and feature two-stage turbocharging, which comes with cooled external exhaust gas re-circulation technology from US EPA-Tier 4 – EU Stage-IV. With optimized engine and exhaust after-treatment, or EAT, the engines offer high efficiency for the total system and allow for minimized operating and fuel costs.
These units have highly compact designs featuring a modular system and structural oil pan as well as optional add-on parts to increase the number of processes they are capable of. At the front end and flywheel, the power take-off is 100% and the DEUTZ Common Rail injection technology and the engine control unit (EM4) helps to optimize performance without consuming a lot of oil.
The changeover of existing engine installations is facilitated with the compact design, dimensions and connectivity of these engines.
