Description

The water-cooled, V version (90°) 6 or 8-cylinder engines are designed with turbocharging and charge air cooling. The engines include a modular exhaust after treatment system (EAT) with optional configuration variants and hence offer superior flexibility for integrating them into equipment. The powerful Common Rail injection system and the electronic engine control (EMR 4) is linked intelligently to the drive management that ensures optimum engine performance with minimal fuel consumption.

The engines ensure best cold starting properties even under extreme conditions. The SCR technology cuts the need to enlarge the cooler sizes n comparison with Tier 3 engines. The engine is compactly designed with front power take offs and up to three power take-offs at the rear in conjunction with up to 520 Nm of overall torque which minimizes the installation costs and increase diversity of applications. It also reduces fuel consumption. Both engines are also available as a flat version for extremely compact installations.
