Dewetron
The DEWE-5001-FGEN instrument is a full-featured glitch free function generator with up to 16 signal outputs.
available modes:
- fixed frequency mode: all channels use the same frequency with 0.1 mHz resolution
- sweep mode: useful for testing electronic circuits like filters as well as automated modal analysis
- burst mode: testing response characteristics of systems under modal test
- stepped sine mode: special procedure for modal testing
There are numerous functions available for each mode, including frequency, operation mode, timing, control, and more. You can define each channel individually to any of the available types, including sine, triangular, rectangular, saw, white noise or trigger. The amplitude, offset and phase can also be defined for each channel.
Signal generation start/stop can be with half sine window, so the amplitude will not rise to full amplitude immediately, but within a certain time which ensures that the systems under test don\'t suffer from impact shock. The same graceful and gradual shutdown happens when you press STOP on the DEWETRON FGEN instrument. The start and stop of signal generation can be controlled manually or automatically.
