With Dexion mobile racking, individually controlled powered mobile racks run on precision-laid steel rails. When a pallet is required, the appropriate aisle is opened up by operating the electrically-driven bases. Only one aisle is required to service a number of racks, and space utilisation increases dramatically.
Mobile racking reduces the costs for new buildings, because you need less storage space for a given number of loads. Alternatively, it lets you utilise existing storage space in your warehouse more efficiently: store more in the same space, or free-up space for other uses.
Dexion mobile racking is safe. Reliable sensors register all potential sources of risk, and stop the movement of racks immediately. Across the front of each Movo installation are light beams at different heights. Each beam registers all personnel and trucks entering the aisle. The system remembers everyone entering, and only permits movement of the racks after everyone and every truck has left the aisle.
Movo can be used with counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks or VNA trucks, Movo racks carry even the highest loads. Modular construction is fast and efficient, meaning a mobile installation can be in operation sooner than you'd think.
Dexion mobile racking racks can be built to fit any environment, to suit any loads. Large existing installations of static racking can readily be converted.
Radio-controlled rack access speeds productivity by opening aisles while the truck drive is on the move.
Every rack is also fitted with a manual controls and an emergency stop button.
