General

The side channel pump with its high differential head - also at low speed - has the advantage of operating more economical than a normal centrifugal pump applicated for low capacities and high heads.
The WP-pumps with their selfpriming capability are also able to work at suction lift conditions and to prime empty suction lines after initially filling the pump casing with liquid before start-up. Due to these facts, the side channel pumps are appropriate to solve many pumping problems in the industrial process. However, the pumped liquids must be clean and free from any abrasive solids.

Construction

The WP-pumps are single or multistage horizontal side channel pumps with vertical discharge and suction flanges. According to the expected working pressure, two different constructions are available:
Suction and discharge casing with PN6-flanges, counter flanges with female British pipe thread. Suction and discharge casing with PN 16-flanges which can also be drilled according to ASA-Standard.
