Efficient sand cooling and moistening of the return sand is important to ensure good sand quality. DISA offers two different types of sand cooling solutions, the uniquely designed DISACOOL (which can be combined with the DISA SCR, Secondary Cooling and Remoistening system) and the SFC-II fluid bed cooler.
DISACOOL

The DISACOOL ensures a gentle and effective separation as well as cooling of sand and castings using a unique water evaporation system. An all-in-one system eliminates the need for a separate shake-out, sand cooler and casting cooler.
