DMD 105D DM3D Technology

The POM Direct Metal Deposition (DMD®) 105D is a 5 Axis fiber delivered laser system for depositing complex metal alloy powders on smaller components for rapid prototyping, manufacture and repair In industry applications. The DMD® 105D system offers a work envelope of 12" x 12" x 12". The system has successfully been applied to the restoration of sensitive components such as turbine blades, stub shafts, diaphragms, trim dies and punches using complex alloys such as Tool Steels, Stellites® and Inconel® The system also offers a evacuated chamber to allow processing of volatile alloys such as Titanium alloys for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
