A large advantage of DocMagnet Double-Magnet Modules over regular magnetic chucks is that when strategically placed, they provide tool clearance for thru' machining. This results in less potential for damage, but also the fact that the tool (and chips) are not passing through a magnetic field.
Perhaps the biggest advantage, is that most magnetic chucks are priced by size/area. Magnetic Modules allow you to set-up large workpieces at a very competitive price.
