Donaldson offers high-quality stainless steel housings for the pure and sterile filtration of liquids in several application areas. The stainless steel housings are available in various sizes, amongst others with 3-A approval. For less critical application plastic housings made of polypropylene are a reliable and cost-effective solution.

PF-EG
The PF-EG stainless steel housing (1.4404) for liquid filtration in sanitary quality (with 3-A approval for superplus version) is available in numerous sizes for operating volume flows of 3 to 600 l/min. Depending on the version surfaces are electro-polished with a surface of under Ra 0.8 µm. A bayonet connection guarantees a fixed fit of the filter element. The Superplus version contains pharma-valves at the lowest part of the inlet and outlet. Furthermore it contains another pharma-valve for ventilation. All sizes as standard with tripod. You choose from a range of pre-, sterile, depth or membrane filters guaranteeing retention rates down to 0.2 µm. A selection of either clamp or milk-pipe connections are offered. Housings for higher volume flows as well as other connections are available on request. Housings in the quality Ra < 0.5 (with certificate) for pharmaceutical applications are available on request.

P-KG
The two part plastic P-KG housing made of polypropylene filters liquid media in maximum operating temperatures of 50 °C at 8 bar g. The housing can only be used with DOE (double-open-end) filter elements. The reliable design is provided with thread connections, either made of brass or polypropylene and with a vent plug.
