The motor speed reduction is
achieved via a worm gear reducer
gearbox with integral hollow drive
shaft to which the mixer shaft is
fi tted and keyed. The gearbox fl ange
is utilised to fi x the mixer to the tank
or mixer bridge support.
They can be supplied with an extra
support guide now designated
DRV-G.
Impellers are usually inclined blade
axial fl ow turbine types.
