These cast film lines feature a casting roll either 400 mm or 800 mm in diameter and are ideally suited for development of optical film, for instance, under close to real-world production conditions. With such a line size, it is possible to transfer process parameters to production-scale equipment. In addition to development work, these lines can be used for short production runs or to produce niche products as a way to achieve optimal utilization. Line speeds of up to 120 m/min are ;possible.
