A cast or blown film is produced by an extruder with appropriate downstream equipment and conveyed over a light source. A camera records flaws as small as 10 µ m in size. User-friendly evaluation software classifies the flaws and documents them.
Ten different types of flaws can be defined by means of 14 different defect parameters. The software offers on-line as well as off-line evaluation possibilities.
