Hydraulic spring driven h ose reels are used on those machines where the distance ofthemobile use from the hydraulic feeding is variable. One or more spiral springs hâve the fünction to keep tense and to rewind the hydraulic hoses previously unwound during the machine movement(eg. Extension ofa telescopic boom). Thanks to several mater ial dimension and lengths ofthe Steel springs, torque values are easily obtained to grant optimal hose rewinding even in case of horizontal applications and vertical applications, even for light hoses and heavy hoses. A drum made by carbon Steel sheet and epoxy powder painted folio wing high quality standards, holds the hydraulic hoses tha te an be single, twin (up to 6 hoses) and with several diameters from 3/16' to 2’ to grant a wide range offlow rates. The use of thermoplastic and rubber hoses with different manufacturing spécifications (Steel braid, textile braid, double braid, etc.) allows a wide range ofworking pressures. Allowedmedium: hydraulic oil, cold water, water and glycol, air. Suitable for hot water under pressure, the hose reels rewind automatically the hose by a spring located in the drum and can lock it at the desired length.
