These units consist of either a permanent magnet PL or an electrical magnet DEP, depending on the required output, located above a conveyor belt. Any pieces of iron, or other magnetic metals, that pass under the magnet, mixed with the material being conveyed, will be attracted and retained by the magnet, thus separating them from the material they were mixed with, given that the separator is surrounded by a conveyor belt, with dismensions that are suitable for the separator unit, the purpose of which is to remove all of the pieces of iron that have been captured, letting them fall at a determined point.
