Dresser-Rand has over 30 years experience in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) expanders. Over that time the company has shipped over 70 units of various frame sizes to nearly every part of the world to customers that include nearly every major oil company. This figure represents over 60% of all FCC units installed worldwide, more than double any other manufacturer worldwide. We have achieved such milestones as shipping the world's first two-stage unit in 1981 and achieving five million operating hours in 1994.
