EMP joint units measure power using an analogue load cell, which is positioned next to the workpiece in the joint stamp. This achieves a measurement accuracy of 1 % from end value. Path measurement is relative with a resolution of 0.002 mm. Four position sensors act as stroke limiters and determine the path zero point.
