Dura-Belt supplies highly reliable powerful belts for the Hutchinson Conveyxonic Poly-V® powered roller conveyors. Also called PolyVee, multi-rib belts, V-ribbed belts, and Micro-V® belts, the nylon-reinforced rubber Dura-Belts are far exemplary than the regular flat belts. Although these belts require more powerful and sophisticated motorized drive than those by typical flat urethane belts, they are capable of transporting heavy loads at very high speed. In fact, it could convey up to 250 lbs (113 kg) boxes in a single roller and up to 2440 lbs (1100 kg) pallets at a speed of up to 800 fps (4 m/s). It can be made to carry even higher loads by adding additional ribs to the roller unit. The belts are seamless, long-lasting, and require very less maintenance.
