Powered roller belts are known as RollerDrive belts, Power Moller belts, motorized roller belts and Microroller belts. They are used to connect a motorized roller to a zone, which is a group of six to ten slave rollers. The motorized roller is usually at the center of the zone but is at the top end on sloped applications. It is best to choose a belt which will move the maximum box weight. In instances where maximum loads have exceeded the manufacturer's recommendations, the customers have still successfully run them at higher loads using boxes that are at least 80% as long as the zone. Four-groove rollers enable box weights to be doubled. For example, .210" HT Red belts can move 260 lb boxes.
