Dip coating line Dürr Paint Systems RoDip
In order to neatly clean and chemically neutralize the vehicle body prior to application of the primer coat, it is transported through various dip baths, suspended from a chain-driven pair of suspension yokes. This first process in the paintshop is referred to as pretreatment. In the same way, the body is then moved through the bath for cathodic dip coating where an electrostatic charge applies the primer.
